Education
Tymish Y. Ohulchanskyy holds his Ph.D. degree in physics from the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv (Kyiv, Ukraine).
Research Areas
Dr. Ohulchanskyy's expertise lies in the area of photophysics and physical chemistry of organic materials and organic/metal/ceramic/semiconductor or hybrid nanostructures. His research involves nanoformulation design, optical steady-state/time-resolved spectroscopy and imaging for application development.
Current research interests include, but not limited to:

Design and development of novel nanodimensional systems for biophotonics and photonics.

Photophysical and photochemical properties of newly designed drugs and drug nanoformulations for imaging guided photodynamic therapy of cancer.

Photonics-based approaches in detection, imaging and phototherapy of cancer.

Photoactivation in biomedical and material science applications.
Publication
Dr. Ohulchanskyy has published one hundred articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and obtained one USA patent; ten patent applications and invention disclosures are pending.
